Aromas of blackberry and blueberry with notes of dark chocolate and bacon. On the palate the wine is dry and full-bodied with a velvety texture and deep flavors of blackberry and blueberry. Lingering finish of black fruits and cured meats.

This is one of the better San Diego County red wines in recent memory. Aromas of fruit roasted over a smoky fire meet with peppercorn and herb-laced meats on the nose. The palate is tensely textured and loaded with tobacco, olive and tart elderberry flavors - Wine Enthusiast
